In our lab, we repurpose this technology to generate and process microwave signals for the control and characterization of superconducting qubits and other quantum devices. We develop custom software to interface with these boards and write dedicated firmware to support quantum sensing applications, also in collaboration with other institutions, and enhance the performance of our experiments.
