The project is guided by a quartet of key architectural optimizations:

  • All-to-all connectivity
  • Tunable couplings
  • Higher-dimensional systems (Qudits)
  • Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics (cQED)

To achieve these goals, QUART&T integrates efforts across:

  • Simulation and design of quantum systems in both 2D and 3D technologies
  • Fabrication of superconducting circuits and resonators
  • Development of software and hardware for qubit characterization, measurement, control, and readout
  • Theoretical work on quantum simulation, sensing, and machine learning

At our center, we focus on chip architecture design, with hardware testing planned in the near future.
